For the dressing: Combine 1/2 c cider vinegar, 1/3 c canola oil, 1/3 c sugar and 1 t celery seeds...set aside.

In large bowl, combine 1 c coarsely chopped walnuts and 1 cup dried cranberries (Craisins), 2 cups each finely sliced red and green cabbages, and 1/4 c thinly sliced red onion.
Pour dressing over mixture and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate 3 hours before serving. Stir salda and drain liquid just before serving. Enjoy

Or my traditional recipe is 6 T sugar, 4 T white vinegar, mix well and add Miracle Whip to make creamy, maybe 1/2c or a bit more. Add to one bag of precut cabbage/cole slaw mix, toss well and serve.

Wow! sounds awesome! I'll try w/coleslaw mix. I hate shredding cabbage. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Laugh.gif" alt="" /> Thanks! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" />

OOoo, those sound yummy. Will have to give that a try. I think I have both in the pantry. Thanks for the different aspect.
