We did not get a confirmation back in October filling out the form was seamless, but trying to do it this time there’s gotta be a glitch in the system. When trying to enter the date, there’s no way to manually put it in so you have to scroll through month by month and year by year. WTH. Scrolling this so I just put in when our passports expire in 2035 took forever but now trying to put in our birthdates. It’s just crazy.
Since nobody’s mentioned this, I have to believe there’s a glitch today in the form
What is the value-added of this system? What was wrong with the pre-pandemic paper form where you guessed your lodging address and there was never any issue. Ah, computer progress.

It’s not intuitive, but if you first click on the Year (2025) a box will open where you can quickly choose a past or future year. Repeat with Month for the months. Then choose the day you want. Double check the date the system enters… people are reporting that the system is adding or subtracting a day.
Good web and database designers aren’t common on SXM. If anyone knows one on-island, I know someone who is hiring. Oh, he knows a bit about the aviation industry too.

Correct. Once you learn how to manipulate the form, it is not that bad. I received conformation within a minute or two.
The bigger problem was the people at the kiosks upon arrival who had NOT filled out the form properly and tied the line up.
I submitted about 60 days out and it went through fine.
WWII correct on the cursor. I did mine on a laptop and it worked fine just now on a desktop and the dropdown appeared when you left click on the year. Perhaps some are doing it on a phone and that is a problem?
Last October, we did the entry form online. Now, this was all very new and they had plenty of staff to assist you through the scanning process. The whole thing took a couple of seconds to scan and send us through to the luggage department. Don't try to get stamped. You've gone through, no re-entry, I found out!! You are IN OUT seconds, no waiting on lines!!! Worth every minute filling out the forms online!!! Before you start, have your passport and travel information handy!! Good luck!!
We submitted the form for our July trip, and received a "Thank you for completing your registration" email. So I emailed them, asking if there was anything beyond that which we would receive that is needed for entry. This is the response they sent:
"Thank you for contacting vacation sxm, your application will not be valid for your travels in July you will need to reply for the system deletes applications after 30 days. We request that the Entry form be filled out 7days before your travels, or the latest would be your journey to St. Maarten. Hoping that I've provided you with adequate information."
Still not sure about our original question, but at least this gives clarity on their timeline.
Thank you for sharing that! That is definitely different than what they were originally doing. As to your original question, the only thing we received last year was the email, and our passports scanned perfectly when we arrived. Of course, than may have also changed, lol.
The response about applications being deleted after 30 days seems weird. I submitted my application on 1/25 for arrival on 3/17 and received the response that my application had been received. From that email I can still review that application. Also, I tried to submit a new application this morning, thinking mine had probably been deleted, and when I hit the submit button I got a pop up stating that there is already an application for that date. Maybe they made some timeline changes after I submitted my application. I guess I will see what happens Monday afternoon.
As far as I know, that was always the official guidance, that the form was supposed to be submitted no more than a week in advance. But people were sending it in before that and they were accepting it.
