Has anybody else had a problem on the entry form entering your nationality ? The pull down menu is blank and it will not allow us to enter USA manually. any ideas ? All other information works as well as the pull down menus.

Look for American rather than USA.

The problem is there is nothing to look for. Pull down menu is blank. Also will not let you enter it manually.

Now just tried on my iphone and same results as microsoft edge. The website must be down or undergoing maintenance.

According to this story in the DH, the form is currently being revised, so I expect that it is temporarily not available.

Carol, that is what I also saw. We don't go until February, but hope they have this situation all worked out by then.

Apparently, the website is back up and running. Just successfully submitted our applications and received confirmations.

Yes, it is. But when I tried to enter the nationality, I couldn’t find Canadian. That is weird. They have all countries listed, except Canada.

Canada is there near the top. Not in the alphabetical listings as you might expect.

The date selection problem is a glitch. I had that same issue multiple times. Thought it was just me fat fingering it, but make sure you double check the date after selecting it. Definitely a problem with it.

Just filled in the form for our trip starting December 2. Lots of glitches, still but I got it completed and submitted. Also got an email confirmation. Now what? Do I need to print anything. How will this be used. How does it change the airline or arrival process? Just a black hole at this point!

We printed out the confirmation email. But didn't need it when we arrived. PJIA had plenty of staff and volunteers. It was a breeze!! Step in to kiose place both feet on the diagram insert passport smile and that's it!! No more stamp!! Then it's the dreaded waiting for the luggage! thirty minutes and we were the only plane in!!! SMH!!! Safe travels!!!

Sand Gravity, got to love it!

Was your passport stamped at the kiosk? Or did you skip the kiosk?

Passport is stamped only by the immigration officer. The immigration kiosk that reads your passport decides if you go to an immigration officer.

I posted this photo last week.
This is what the immigration kiosk looks like.
There are people at each kiosk helping.
However, it does not even give you a printout.

Once you have put your passport in the immigration kiosk, it will tell you whether you go straight to the gate where your face is Analyzed or you go directly to an immigration officer.

From 3/20 article in DH
There were also issues with airline miscommunication. “Some airlines mistakenly informed passengers that completing the form was mandatory, even to the point of denying boarding. This issue was addressed through a notice to [the International Air Transport Association – Ed.] IATA and change made in time, clarifying that the form is optional during this pilot phase,” she explained.

The length of the form was also listed as an issue. “The questions on the forms were too lengthy and in some cases, unclear. We are revising the questions to shorten them and make them more concise,” she said.

As it relates to issues with the QR codes, she said QR codes were either not showing up at all or were ending up in junk folders. This glitch is also being addressed and will be fixed soon, she said.

“The system is being updated, with an improved version expected soon. We (TEATT, Justice and PJIA) remain committed to refining this initiative, guided by feedback from travellers, airlines and stakeholders. Despite initial challenges, we are confident this system will ultimately enhance the travel experience and serve St. Maarten well,” the minister said.

I can’t get a phone number to enter. It goes red with any keystroke on my pad.

you need +1 at the beginning if it is a North American number.

candu--It is my understanding that everyone needs to fill out their own form. The "group" form is apparently for use only by organized travel groups. That may (or may not) be the reason why you had to fill it out again.

They did say otherwise at one point. It's definitely a fluid situation, as they're still changing things.

Just some observations about our arrival on Saturday, Nov 30th from CLT on AA3102. Total time from walking off the plane until we cleared customs and immigration was 30 minutes. Since we filled out our online SXM entry forms ahead of time, it only took about 30 seconds each at the passport scanners. (There are 18 total scanners). The big problem is, a lot of people had not completed the entry forms online and took them forever answering all the questions at the scanners. This really slowed things down. We did find the scanners to work great though.

Just finished filling out the form - a little tedious, but no big deal. I'm probably a little slow (being of acertain age - lol ) but I eventually figiured out that the quckest way to work with the calendars was to use the forward and back arrow keys. Thought I'd post in case anyone else was slowly clicking through the calendars as I initially did. Also, I received an email confirming that I had filled out the form within minutes
