One thing I learned yesterday, thanks to a fellow traveler, is that there is helpful information available about the form, although it's sort of disguised. The site mentions FAQs "below", and scrolling down doesn't show them. However, there's a link to sxmvacations.com, that does provide assistance and further information about the requirements.
Also, the online form works fine. If anyone is having problems than it is most likely unfamiliarity with the form or user error. If people reach out here or to other sources than they should be able to easily complete their registration.
Yes, the form does work fine; it's just a little confusing in some spots. I found it interesting that my city (although it's just a very small town in the middle of nowhere, NC) wasn't listed, and that there wasn't an option to add it. There are options to add other things. I'll check it again before we depart, because I'm guessing they'll be updating the form as time passes.
Whatever source of information they're using for city/town is definitely flawed. Looking at what they have for Rhode Island there are definitely municipalities missing, but then there are also entries that aren't cities, towns, or counties. For example, "Newport East" is an area inside the Town of Middletown. Similarly Narragansett Pier is an unincorporated village in the Town of Narragansett. Neither have their own zip code or anything. Meanwhile the town of Glocester (home to 10k people) is entirely missing from the list.
yes, or just pick your county. It is fairly simple. For example, in Rhode Island there are 5 counties and if you pick your appropriate county and your zip code than you will be fine(all 5 counties are listed). Some are making this way more difficult than it needs to be.
Hello, I have a question. I filled out the new entry form for St Maarten yesterday, i never received a confirmation. Does anyone know what I do next. Thank you
I registered for our trip for myself and my husband. Got an e-mail back with just my name on it saying that I had registered. Is that all I need to bring with me or do I need to copy the entire registration and bring that?
Once you have completed the form online, you will get one email. The email comes from the Government of St Maarten, Immigration and Border Protection . On the page of the email it will show your registered name in small print. However, there is a blue button labelled “ view registration”. If you want to look at your registration information you can push on that button. You can do a screenshot of that info if you want so that you have it. That is all you will get from them.
You still enter the passport and details for each person if doing *group* . I received 1 email that had myself and wife names since I did the group registration.
I'm confused. Didn't I read for a couple you register each separately not group? Also I thought you were to do the form within 7 days of arrival?
If you follow the link to the FAQs that bdeeley posted above, the FAQs state that one person can fill out the form for everyone in a group, but that each traveler much have a form. That's a bit confusing to me; I filled out separate forms for myself and my husband, and we each got an email confirming that it had been received.
The FAQs say that the form can be completed at any time prior to travel, but must be filled out before you check in for your flight.
