Hi all , been a long time since I’ve been here. Have been a regular on the BVI forum for awhile but really found it difficult post Irma after losing our sailboat Reef Song . Realize now thati have met so many wonderful friends through TTOL i need to get back. I loved doing trip reporting in the past and am considering doing some from a trip to Azores last fall , Kenya for Safari and visit to Nick and Monica and Portugal and France this fall. Trying some pic uploading using the new and improved features.
These are from Azores

Welcome back! Glad you joined us on the bottom of the threads - World Wide Travel

Love the shots of the Azores. One of my favorite places in the world! However, my last visit was 1983.
I was still in the service and I got to go two or three times a year. It was like stepping back in time!
I will return... This time I will be with my bride who back then was home with the little ones.
Plus flying to the Azores in a C-130 is a LONGGGGGGGG ride.

I know I have changed…

My guess is the Azores have to… but not as much as me

Working on organizing my pictures and trying to remember where we went last fall in Azores. !!! It’s a stretch for my aging brain .

Will mainly a picture trip report me thinks .

I do know we stayed on Sao Miguel and drove around every inch of it for a week ...very cool . We then had an apartment in Madeira...not technically Azores but also very cool. Stay tuned
