Is this eatery still operational? If so what are their hours?

No idea of the hours but friends who were on the island 2 weeks ago indicated they had lunch there one day.

When we were there for lunch 2 weeks ago, Richard said that reservations are recommended.Sometimes the opening hours vary a bit.

Yes,it's operational. IMHO reservations are a must, not for being busy but to ensure it's open . our experience is there are no specific hours. It appears to us they open whenever. We stay just across the bridge past Ruby Butes art studio & pass it many times a day. Sometimes it's open & that's January.😀

Enjoyed 2 wonderful dinners produced by Richard and his wife. First visit had a delightful whole red snapper, grilled with a brown sugar glaze and creole spices. It was so fresh, I had seen it swimming earlier that day. My 2nd visit was the stewed pork, which is a marinated pork shoulder. In all the years visiting SXM, this is the first time I had the sense to call first and to find them open. Richard asks that you call ahead, especially for dinner, because they will close up shop at 7:00 if there are no guests. Now I know and will be a guest whenever I am on the island.
