My ex-brother in law has stayed there twice, once as recently as December 2014. They like the all inclusive atmosphere. They did go out to eat, and did take the bus around to different places, they did not rent a car. They said they loved the nice walk to Mullet Beach. Apparently on foot, not too bad of a walk. That would be the nicest beach close to Sonesto. Depends on what you like. To me, St.Martens is not an island to do an all inclusive. There are just too many wonderful places to eat and see. Not sure what an all inclusive costs,,,but I would think a fair bit because it is SXM. Hope they have a good time. They said they liked their room and they had no complaints with the food. But I did mention, they ate out a bit as well.
