Only two points I would like to make. First, the moped/scooter/motorcycles. We learned from folks that have lived on the island for many years that anyone that is age 14 can ride one of these without any license or training. Many people have tried to get the SXM government to take reasonable actions to change existing rules and have all failed. Second, with regard to Belair, we experienced our 2 weeks in December with some hot water problems but since we've been going there for 40+ years, we also feel for the staff that does everything possible to accommodate guests. "Dated" is a term that most find applicable for Belair.
