I don't think I ever wrote about it as most folks seem to enjoy it, but we had an almost identical experience at Bistro Cariabes last January. It was very uncomfortable and did not endear us to return despite the reviews. So many other places still on the "to do" list before that one becomes a repeat.
Eager to try Tropicana and Astrolabe next trip, for example.
