Now this place looks interesting. It's positioned right between Karakters cabanas and Mary's Boon with not much room between them. Babacool translates to hippie from French. They have transplanted palm trees on the beach which offer some much needed shade. The tables for eating are pretty neat they are the roots and trunk of trees imported from Bali (probably teak) with a glass top on them.
We talked to the owner and his father and they are from Quebec and I believe they have a restaurant there by the same name. There are going to be 3 areas, a dining area, a bar area and a pool area. Go figure. They say that they are looking at a Dec 31 opening. Good luck with that. We will still be here on that date so will report back. The pool is supposed to be delivered today.
