ditto to what GaKaye posted. However, with construction things may have changed. Go to their web site and post any questions you might have. You might even consider a short stay there (not a full week) since they've reduced prices during construction. Then you could park inside and utilize their free water sports. Parking is at a minimum on that street so you should consider arriving very early and NOT on a Sunday because that's when all the locals seem to use that beach.
There's a restaurant on the beach (not cheap) , and restrooms at left of the restaurant.
