There's so much more to St. Martin than beaches and dining (though those are both pretty good things, too!). Aside from the beaches and all the great restaurants, my four favorite 'touristy' things to do on the island were in fact the butterfly farm, parrotville, Loterie farm, and visiting the Yoda Guy in Philipsburg!


Supposedly Parrotville was going to rebuild but I have heard nothing either.

Regarding the Butterfly Farm. It has been a favorite or ours for many years. 50,000 euros sounds kind of steep to me. You had a small gift shop, restroom and basically a net structure and little else. They have come back from other storms so hopefully they will again.
