Does anyone have an update on Parrotville? Has it reopened?

I was wondering about this place myself. I did hear that it was going to reopen, but have no idea when. I'm also curious about the Butterfly Farm. That was one of my personal favorites. There's so much more to St. Martin than beaches and dining (though those are both pretty good things, too!). Previously I posted that the Butterfly Farm was trying to raise 50,000 euros to rebuild, but unfortunately I don't have any further updates regarding this. Aside from the beaches and all the great restaurants, my four favorite 'touristy' things to do on the island were in fact the butterfly farm, parrotville, Loterie farm, and visiting the Yoda Guy in Philipsburg!

Supposedly Parrotville was going to rebuild but I have heard nothing either.

Regarding the Butterfly Farm. It has been a favorite or ours for many years. 50,000 euros sounds kind of steep to me. You had a small gift shop, restroom and basically a net structure and little else. They have come back from other storms so hopefully they will again.

I will be on the island a week from tomorrow for three weeks and will see what I can find out about Parotte Ville (the correct spelling). I know there was a Go Fund Me set up at one time, but I don't think it raised very much money. I received an email from them saying they would rebuild but have heard nothing since then.

Thank you. I knew the spelling was off but did not take the time to find the correct spelling.
