Since there has not been any semblance of a sandy beach at Maho, wondering where the cruise ships are sending people to watch planes land...D's Beach Bar?
I don't think there have been many ships in lately. But they could still go to Sunset Beach Bar or Tortuga Grill at the other ends and watch. There's a bit of a beach at that end.
This is the longest I have ever seen Maho with no beach, I am not a regular to SXM, has anyone seen it go this long without a beach, I am sure after Irma the beach was gone for a while.
They often walk on the low wall, sometimes slipping off into the line of moving traffic. One needs to creep when driving through there or run the risk of hurting someone.

A couple of weeks ago I saw a large group there, some on the road and some on the rocks. When a big plane launched many ended up in the road and many on the rocks got blown off onto the rocks or into the ocean. One young man obviously got hurt landing on the rocks.
