Is anyone aware of any smaller power boats that we bareboat with in the BVI? There's just two of us.

Look at MarineMax. They have a smaller power boat. Good company.

I thought they used to have a 2 cabin boat but it looks like the smallest they have now is a 42' 3-cabin.

These look like daily rentals. We're looking to bareboat for a week.

Sadly boats have gotten exponentially larger over the last 30 years. You might give BVI yacht charters a call and see about their 3 cabin Lagoon 380. If you have a solid resume on powerboats they might consider renting it to you if you promise not to sail!

The wife and I have taken their 42.3 out by ourselves on many charters. She drives while I tend to lines, music, snacks and refreshments. Awesome boat.

I suspect they might not want to rent a monohull out to non sailors with the single engine but you don’t know until you ask.

The wife and I have taken the 423 out alone many trips. Easy to maneuver. She drives while I tend to lines, music, cocktails.

We do the same as TIMRIM. My husband and I have sailed monohulls in the 37-44 foot range when it's just the 2 of us. We have never had a problem. I man the wheel and he does all the heavy lifting and sail adjustments. We have become quite proficient at picking up a mooring ball too. I think it works great when he hooks the ball and I steer.
