It's a start but if there were "several robbers", why was only one arrested? I hope they don't have "catch and release" that is so prevalent in many places in the US.

Actually, apparently the French side justice system acts pretty quickly and with fairly long prison sentences, versus the Dutch side anyway.

Hopefully that is the case but I still find it odd they only arrested one when several were mentioned in the article.

I guess the rest of the robbers were faster runners? Knowing the 'honor among thieves', or lack thereof, hopefully he will rat out his compatriots.

Having spent the last week in the lowlands and traveling every night except one through Sandy Ground and Nettle Bay. we found that area to extremely less traveled with 2 check points either at entrance to marigot from Nettle Bay
exiting Marigot before going up the hill towards Pic Paradise
and at the Mount Hope circle
We felt much less concerned traveling through these areas especially Sandy Ground
