We would like to spend our 1st night at Cooper Island (5/11/22). We're going to try and reserve a ball through BoatyBall, but if we can't do you think there would still be one available around 3PM in May?

We skip Cooper due to rolly conditions, backwinding and bad service. Just not worth it.

That is probably slowest day for Cooper. I have seen balls at Cooper in Febuary open even as late of 5pm... Being out of sync with crowd is key.

Where is everybody going for there first stop other than Cooper? We typically don’t get off the dock as early as we want to, so the short sail to Cooper works good. Open to trying something different. We typically do Norman the last night.

Great Harbor on Peter is nice. Deadman’s Bay is also a great spot. Benures Bay on the East side of Norman is great. G

We usually do the Bight at Norman because typically we have rookies onboard, so it gives us a nice little shakedown sail, they get to see Willy T's, and the next morning we can hit the Indians or the Caves, and still make our way to Cooper or the Baths.
Have fun!
