Those of you who love Beachside Villas have known Nicholas, who worked there for YEARS, and who recently passed away, very sadly. Here is a picture I took of Nico, years ago, as he was, with his typical huge smile, doing his job. In this case, getting rid of some pesky iguanas... Rest in peace, Nico.

We were saddened to learn of Nico's passing. We didn't know him nearly as well as so many who stay at BSV but every exchange we ever had was pleasant and his smile was enough to warm your heart. His absence will be sorely felt by all who had the pleasure of dealing with him.
Respectfully,
pat

He was a young man; always smiling and helpful.

I can remember when Nico removed one of these pesky things from our unit. He was always smiling and always wanting to help you in anyway he could. He was one of many reasons we love staying at Beachside.

So true, he always had a smile on his face and he would do anything he could for you.

At BSV a few years ago our rental car's battery was dead and we were standing around it figuring what to do when Nico walked up. We told him what the problem was and in a few minutes he came back, jumped our vehicle and got us going. It was always a pleasure to see him, say hi, big smile, he'll be missed.
