We're back! And things didn't work out exactly as planned, but we had a fantastic time! We stocked up at Buck’s upon our arrival in VG, as suggested, and we went to Leverick Bay on Monday night to try to catch Brian Neale, but were told there was no live music over that way on Monday night, so we missed out on that. We were told that the woman who ran the humane society in Tortola passed away and that it was unclear if it was still running, but then were told by someone else later in our trip that a man had taken it over. We were never able to sort it out and make a donation. The charter speed boat to Anegada was cancelled when we arrived at the dock due to choppy water, so we ended up chartering Fly BVI to get over there for a day...such a beautiful place! We visited Big Bamboo, Anegada Beach Club and Cow Wreck.

In VG, we hiked the peak, did the Baths early (before the tours), Spring Bay and Savannah Bay. We had great food at Chez Bamboo (get the grilled romaine!), The Rock, and The Bath and Turtle (chick pea roti!) and had drinks at Hog Heaven and Coco Maya. We took Speedy’s Ferry to Tortola on Wednesday, July 3 with no issues. There, we ate at Sugarmill, Sebastian’s (which was our least enjoyable meal of the trip) and found a place called Garden House in Carot Bay that serves vegetarian fare that was quite good. We were fortunate enough to hit Cane Garden Bay on a day when there were no cruise ships, so we spent the afternoon drinking at several fine establishments there and walked to Bomba’s for drinks from our place on Long Bay. We took the ferry to Jost for a fully day of festivities that I can barely recall. But I don’t think I will never forget the punch at Jewel’s Snack Shack! Best drinks of my trip! Jost is fun. For our return to VG, we chartered a boat with Double D’s and it was a great day on the water visiting the caves, Norman Island, Peter Island, Cooper Island, etc., with a stop at Willie T’s for lunch and lots of other places for drinks.

I am so glad we made a point of getting to Anegada. It is such a unique place. I would definitely stay in VG again and Jost maybe for a couple nights. Tortola is a convenient for its location, but we preferred the slower pace and quainter feel of VG and Jost. Thank you all again for your suggestions and recommendations! And CHEERS!
