Just saw this article on LIAT. I liked the Dash 8s, but I guess new planes will be nice. Now if they can work on their scheduling issues...

Mark: They flew that from France? It doesn't seem it would be a long distance plane.
Carol: That beats my story of being left at the grocery store when I was a kid!

I guess your mom knew enough to leave you somewhere that someone would actually CARE that there was an unattached child!

I guess the route over from France maybe to Greenland or Iceland then onto Northern Canada then down the coast through the US. Maybe ? http://www.aircraftcompare.com/helicopter-airplane/ATR-72-600/368

The article says France-Canary Islands-Cape Verde Islands- Recife in Brazil-Georgetown, Guyana-Antigua.
Maybe they should have picked up the little girl's folks in Guyana! It seems that the Cape Verde to Recife leg would be more than 891 miles- okay Wolfram Alpha says 1578 nm. Maybe it's a glider at times??

I am not at all impressed with their new fleet of planes. The way they do business it's a wonder that they are still flying!
