Unfortunately we won't be there.... But did anyone see how much rain the Sunny Isles area got yesterday? 13" in one day. There was so much flooding. I can imagine how bad that tunnel to the beach got!!

Wow, and I was feeling pretty wet yesterday, as we got about 3 inches!

In the CT woods we rec'd about 5", (set many all time records for one day in our little state) most little streams flooded, I think the tunnel probably needed a floatie !!! I'll let you know when I see it.

Have never visited Haulover, what is the vibe? How does it compare to other Urban nude beaches. Do hope to get there though.

The vibe is good - accepting of all people who arrive with a smile on their face and friendlessness in their soul.

Haulover was great, water 81, rain did measure 13 or so inches before we arrived, guests at the Newport (North Miami) had their cars flooded in the parking lot - but last week it was typical FL/sxm 30% showers depending where you were. Beach pier is now open - great spot.
