I have sailed from Toronto to Trinidad and never had a better experience than with these folks. My first charter with this company was in 1987. The last time was February 12th, 2003. My group of 16 friends utilized two 39' Privilege catamarans.
We originally had one cat rented from NorthSouth and another from Conch Charters at the Fort Burt Marina. The personel at Conch was extremely friendly. However, the condition of the boat (cleanliness, tattered interior & overall maintenance) was sadly lacking. The new sail could not make up for the subliminal impression made on my guests. Eight people stayed overnight on the Conch Charter catamaran. The next morning, I negotiated to pay for the overnight stay and cancel our contract. Management at Conch was HELPFUL and VERY FAIR to me.
Fortunately, there was another cat available at NorthSouth. Like all of their boats, it was spotless with good maintenance inside and out.
From the:
*Obvious commitment to excellence and superb personal attention to every detail of General Manager Chandi Singh
*Warm, friendly service of all employees
*Well appointed boats
*Cleanliness of the ENTIRE PROPERTY
It was the consensus of all attendees that our trip to the BVI'S and NorthSouth was the "BEST VACATION WE'VE EVER TAKEN!".
My husband & I were the only ones on board who had ever chartered before or been to the BVI'S. We are currently planning for 2004 and our group is swelling in numbers for next years visit. We shall be pleased to recommend NorthSouth at every opportunity.
This is a very good dollar value & NS is doing an excellent job in their market segment as a small charter company.__________________
All the Best,
Kell
