I read about this about a month ago and thought I would join on a whim. They were very responsive and sent cards to us and info. We arrived May 11 and since it was our 6th trip, didn't really need help. But I have to say, it was very nice to be greeeted and walked thru the lines. It was especially helpful because we checked 3 pieces of luggage and they did not make it (Cape Air). Shevern met us, helped fill out our paperwork on missing pieces. Gave us bottles of water and checked on our cab. She was very sweet.

What is the current email for them? We have used it several times and it really does help.

The VIP Club only works at Beef Island Airport, right? IE there is no benefit if you arrive by ferry, right?

Email the BVI club and ask. You might be surprised by the response

They have met us in St Thomas, and at the ferry, a great service.

If anyone recently (or in near future) is met at the ferry(on Tortola), please let us all know. I got the impression that this VIP club is being revived. I think it is a great perk and if your group has newcomers, they will surely be impressed.

I emailed them that I'm arriving via ferry at West End and they told me that the service is only available at the Roadtown ferry terminal.

We flew into EIS last week, and BVIP met us outside terminal with a sign with my name on it--I felt like a real VIP and my travel companions were surprised!! They brought us all 6 through the line quickly (while others on our plane had to wait 15-20 minutes), and helped us all the way through. I was skeptical at first about sending them my passport information, but so glad I did!! I highly recommend.

We are flying into STT and taking the ferry to Road Town via West End. At which location will we go thru customs?

If your final destination is Road Town, you'll stay on the boat at West End and go through Customs in Road Town.

I can't remember if I've read this before, but is the meet & greet on arrival only for Gold members? I know the form asks if you are, but not sure how that is handled.

I joined last month as a basic member, and I'm trying to determine if it's worth letting them know that we are coming.

I believe that meet and greet is for gold members only. It's stated on their web site

This came up a couple weeks ago and I sent in a request for info. Here is their first response... However they sent me a follow up message that said their "VIP services are limited to the Terrence B. Lettsome Airport". I would be interested in a service that allowed me to skip the line at the ferry drop in Roadtown but it sounds like the BVIVIP service does not do that.

The British Virgin Islands are very greatful for our repeat Friends that enjoy coming home and making our Islands their favorite “Little Secrets”. In recognition of the loyalty and love that has been displayed by our Friends we are very pleased to introduce a special invitation to our returning Friends to become members of the BVI’s VIP Club.

Our Club offers three levels of membership, which is based on your number of pleasure visits to our beautiful Islands. The membership levels are set at:

Gold Level Membership- consists of 10 or more visits for our friends from North America/Caribbean/U.S.V.I and Puerto Rico. The rest of the world would qualify at their 7th visit.

Silver Level Membership- starts at the 6th visit for our Northern and Caribbean friends while the 4th visit for friends in other parts of the world.

Basic Level Membership- is for our friends that have just discovered our wonderful world here in the British Virgin Islands and want to really discover that “Little Secret”. Their visits start from their 3rd visit and 2nd visit respectively.

There are many great things to discover here in the British Virgin Islands and becoming a VIP Club member is where it all starts!! All of our members are special to us and we have chosen to thank each level of membership specially; Gold Members get to experience a little bit of luxury in our posh VIP Lounge as we execute the Immigration/Customs process. Silver/Basic Members receive the expedited Immigration/Customs process upon their arrivals.

Our main goal for our Territory is to make each and every visitor have lasting memorable moments during the beginning of their vacations to the end.

If you are interested, please go ahead and sign up at www.bvivipclub.com

Just sent my info and they will be meeting us at the airport. After a long travel day it will be nice to get through customs and get our bags without any hassles. I do miss the VIP lounge. It was a cool place to relax and have a cold drink after travel. I hope they find a small spot for a new lounge.

Sent them the arrival form and have got the response: "I am sorry to inform you but the maximum for VIP services at the Ferry Terminal is four persons. Your party is too large to receive this service."

We arrived in Tortola on the ferry and were greeted by Tammi David as VIP's, the royal treatment indeed! It was fantastic and easy, quick and professional in every aspect! Made our trip start out just fantastic! This was on June 10, 2017. Will definitely email her again!

I attempted to use the VIP services at the Ferry terminal. They wanted a personal history including passport photos for everyone traveling with me. Seemed a bit intrusive. All they really need to do is bring the customs procedures to 2017 from the current 1950 methodology.

Would have been nice to know this before I wasted time collecting passport pages for our crew of 11. BVIP knew we were basic members (4+ visits), and knew we were arriving via ferry, but nevertheless told me to send in all the information. I did. Arrived at ferry terminal as scheduled on June 14. Nice customs man said no one there from BVIP. Oh well, ....
