Dateline Amsterdam - Monday: It appears the skies are clearing and some flights will start to depart tomorrow from northern Europe. I think flights leaving Amsterdam will begin Wednesday. We are holding our Thursday tickets very tight and close.

However no mater the flight situation, the longer we stay the city has begun to feel like home. Today we caught up on some work emails and the went to the Van Gogh Museum. We also got a canal boat pass so we could jump on and off like a taxi. It was just another Beautiful Day!

The sun was brilliant and skies were blue and it made Tom proclaim the city’s moto:

After strolling the canals and streets we decided it was time for a what if drill. Just in case there is another eruption we decided we needed a long term plan. House shopping seemed like a good idea.

Janet found this one

But the boat did not convey and I was not interested in yard work

So we settled on this floating bungalow because there was no grass to cut and it was in a great location.

Not sure it will get to the point where we need a house, but I like to plan ahead and keep my options open. There are some folks that have already adjusted and become the new entrepreneurs of the Netherlands

The guy seemed busy so it may just work. We have to find and angle.

Well it is bedtime so I say good night North America.
