If you were going to meet up with others at a bar in Cane Garden bay, which one would you choose? <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/dine.gif" alt="" />

We always enjoy a good meal for our large boat party at Myett's . Service is excellent as well as the food. For this trip, there was a great musician, but I thought Quito's band was playing that Saturday night, so we all went there after dinner. So sorry to report a big disappointment. Techno music, (not our thing 'cause I guess we're just old). We felt obligated to order drinks, but it was apparent the server didn't feel obligated to serve us, so we left quickly after spending time and money we shouldn't have. We all agreed we should have stayed at Myett's - it just has a really good feel, whenever we are there. I think the key is to know when Quito/ The Edge is/are performing.

How about a cool place to have dinner and drinks with a few kids around 10-12? This will be our 3rd trip to BVI's on a boat and really didnt enjoy Cane Garden Bay in the past. It was not peaceful, beach was crowded and had jetskis flying around our boat. I see people rave about it so want to give it another chance beginning of August. Figure should be pretty low this time of year.

Probably " Myett's"..though both " Tony's" ( formerly Stanley's ") and " Quito's" are fun..I would give the nod to " Quito's" if he is playing that night..in August you never know as things are starting to close..

For kids, if CGB is not on the list, I'd do Leverick on Friday night. Jumbie dancers, pool, nice bar, and GREAT BBQ!
