Ok, wanted to see the new digs anyway, and that and KLM was coming in this morning..... so no problem.
WOW, is all that we have to say about the new digs.... Huge!!! Have quite a few pictures, so will post them.
Parking, get the ticket ---Sunset validates the ticket. $4 otherwise, not a problem, but wanted to see how it worked for validation.. Painless!
Just give the validated ticket to the exit and you are good to go.
Ok, that is a change from what you are normal too.
Entrance, like normal --- but it is ONLY entrance. You cannot depart thru the from area at all. The exit is by Taco Macho and the guard/gate is there for exit.
There is separate parking if you drive vs taxi. The taxi's have their own separate parking area... maybe that is a good thing! Plenty of parking available. Of course this was not a cruise ship day -- but that should not make a difference -- today there was tons of taxi parking. So maybe this will work for all parties concerned.

Don't know. I didn't see a sign that said that, but man, it doesn't seem like that kind of place any more.. Absolutely freaking HUGE!!

We were there twice a few weeks ago. The first time was in the evening and the parking area was open. The place is really huge. It is still under construction, but mostly open. It was a nice sunset, but not many big plane coming or going after 6 pm.
To validate the parking, we were told to show the gate attendant our credit card receipt. The attendant at the gate kept our copy of the credit card receipt on the way out. I was not real enthused about that.
Being off season and with no ship in port, it was not crowded either time.

Sorry, but no way would I let anyone keep my copy of my credit card receipt, for whatever reason. The whole number isn't on it, but still. I'd pay for the parking before that would happen!

We paid for our drinks with cash, but what happened in our case is that the bartender asked if we needed our parking validated. The bartender then attached a $4 coupon to our parking ticket and gave it to us. The regular receipt stayed with us.

As of now, it looks like no on gets in the parking lot without a parking ticket. I would assume, without knowing, that the casino would validate your ticket also.

We paid in cash and gave the cash receipt copy to the attendant. No problems.

We paid cash also for the drinks while waiting on KLM. I asked about validation, took the ticket and printed out a separate validation ticket/receipt type of thing that they stapled to the time ticket. It had different type of logos, etc. So looked nothing like a payment receipt at all, looked like a voucher type of ticket. And it had very clearly $4 on the ticket.
But that was not a cruise ship day, so maybe the mileage varies depending on the crowd?
Of course I said time ticket, but it is a flat $4 for the parking.
