I saw an ad in the Daily Herald this morning that said the Barefoot Terrace is permanently closed. They had been a staple in P'burg for something like 20 years. Sorry to see another old time business closed.

That is really too bad!
Barefoot Terrace was one of our very favorite in-town breakfast stops for fresh squeezed OJ and traditional island-style French toast made with baguettes instead of plain bread. We loved to people watch as the Boardwalk came alive in the mornings.......and it was always a pleasant and convenient way to start a shopping day in town.
Respectfully,
pat

This is an excellent location. Hopefully another restaurant will open there soon.

We also loved this spot for our Philipsburg days for a quick bite and obligatory people watching. Sorry to hear this. We certainly hope that someone buys the restaurant and opens in that spot.

Sorry to see another old time business closed. We met now lifetime friends there in 1987 while waiting to board the Windjammer Polynesia. gary
