We purchased a Digicel internet card last year (I think it was made by Huawei). Does anyone know if we can "re-load" this without going into the Road Town store (either remotely or are there any other stores)? I've tried to research on line and not getting anywhere with the Digicel site. We are coming into EIS and headed to Little Apple Bay and would like to avoid Road Town for the first couple days if possible.

Thanks in advance.

Rick

Call the store and ask. They are helpful folks. They may need to set some magic codes on their back end to make it work. You'll need to give them the number off of your sim card or the phone number assigned to the device.

On Lime, the only way we could load data was through our phone Sim card online. Sometimes they deactivate your account if not used for 6 months. I would call, but you might have to go to the store to get reactivated.

Since you are staying in Little Apple Bay, I would suggest going to the Digicel store that is right next to Big Ben's Superette just over Zion Hill Road in West End. We have had great service from them in the past.

Digicel will tell you the card expires after 90 days of non-use. No hope to resuscitate the sim card. All you are left with is buying a new sim card. Bummer.

I'll be arriving in Road Town in about a little over two weeks and I just got an unlocked Mifi and I'm planning on getting 1 or 3 gb sim card. I'll have a day before we go out on the boat to get food, booze, and a sim card. What is the best place to go to near the Moorings to get a pre paid sim card for data?

I'd say the Digicel store in Road Town (that's where we picked up ours last year). Hope to see you down there - we get there on the 15th (3 days on land) then pick up the boat 18th for a week. We'll be on a Moorings 433PC.

Rick
