When we left the Island last year, we had light meal at Bachaus Bistro at airport. Had a nice beer that met my tastebuds' standards. Does anybody know where I can purchase Swinkels beer on the island? Tired of all the regulars (caribe, presidente, etc). Thanks for any help. Heading to St Marteen June 12th.? Emailed Bachaus, no reply!

If Bacchus sells the beer at their airport location, I'm guessing they also have it for sale at their retail location between Grand Case and Orient. Just a guess, as I've not shopped there. I also heard that the new location of Dinghy Dock in Simpson Bay would be offering a larger variety of beers, but again, have no personal experience with that.

I was at Bacchus in Hope Estate just 3 days ago to get some wine and Nespresso pods, and did not see any beer at all on sale there.

I'm not sure about Swinkel's, but I've got the best beer selection until you hit Miami. We have 65 craft beers in Oyster Pond and over 100 in Simpson Bay. Mostly American craft beer, Dogfish, Stone, Abita, Anchor, Magic Hat, Rogue, and a bunch more.

Swinkles beer is brewed by Bavaria Brewery, Holland's second largest brewer. Don't know how wide their sales area is but it is available in the Pacific Northwest. Our town has about ten places that sell it. Haven't tried it so I can't make a recomendation

Dingy Dock should be all over that if they have that kind of product selection.

Agreed and I'm sure they're in the process of becoming a paid advertiser since they do seem to be to posting as a business entity.

Where Barnacles used to be, across from WIB.
