The locals call it "Gene's Place". It's located on Carrot Bay, just a short walk from Sebastian's and just down the hill from the Bananakeet.
Her real name is Eugene, but she will be introduced to you as Gene. She performs magic back in her kitchen and well worth dropping in for lunch or dinner.
We started with Curry Chickpeas and Conch Fritters. I've eaten conch fritters on every island, in every restaurant, and hands down these are the BEST EVER !! I have a very high standard when it comes to fritters as I make clam fritters and I can truly say I have met my match. She uses as much conch as she does flour.
Then came the Chicken Roti.......... WOW !!
It's not often I put the SoggyDollarScott seal of approval on things, but this one deserves it. Try it out !!

We'll definitely give it a try in June. And her hubby, Robin, makes some great drinks!
