We will be staying at the Royal Islander La Plage in Maho starting May 28th. Can anyone recommend a good sports bar to watch baseball in the evenings? We are Washington Nationals fans. I've seen a number of places mention sports (3 Amigos, Pineapple Pete), but would love to know whether they (or any other bar) will really be able to get the Nats game for us.

I would try Bar Code. We have watched sports events there and it has good food and excellent service. It is located near the medical university in Cupecoy.

As far as Pineapple Pete is concerned, the last I knew, the sports bar there was closed.

3 Amigos definitely. Above is something called Ascott or like that and they are a sports bar with tons of TV's. Also Bahjtzu has an outside bar with a few TV's. Up in Starz Casino is another great place - Equinox. And BarCode has been mentioned.

Ascott is a restrauant for folks staying at Sonesta on A/I. I'm not sure they take cash, but it has the worst food on the island, so I would never pay cash there. I tried it once staying 2 nights at Sonesta after our stay at Royal Islander and the food was terrible.

Try Casino Royale there are multiple TV sets at the back near the sports book-I usually go there to watch NY Yankee games and also to use the sports book-right across the street from your lodging.
