A few more recent trip observations:
The fruit and chocolate crepe at the Croissanterie in Marina Royale in Marigot is pure heaven (stuffed with oranges and bananas and drizzled with dark chocolate syrup) perfection!
Highway robbery dept: A few weeks ago the Sunset Bar & Grill increased their beer prices from $3.00 to $4.00. This is especially galling if you order a bottle of Heinekens which comes in those puny 25 cl bottles. They also started charging $4.00 to park in their lot with the result that many started parking on the road outside which led to some interesting traffic situations. Cooler heads prevailed, however because after a few days parking is again free in the lot with a stamped ticket validated by the bar or restaurant.
The rum punch at the Driftwood continues to excel - watch them make it and note all the ingredients that go into it!
MAN, I LOVE THIS ISLAND AND CAN'T WAIT TO RETURN.

Thanks for the note. Interesting, they were trying to charge for parking and not give you a credit for it at Sunset?

Actually, I thought beer had been $4 at Sunset for some time now.

Was at sunset yesterday. All you have to do is show your receipt and your parking is free. Like the idea it's a secure area for the most part.
