Looking to check out all inclusive and regular hotel suggestions in the high rise area for young couple 30 years old on honeymoon.
The RIU was one the bride heard of but have not heard good things about it so want some alternatives and why? Thanks so much. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Joy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />

RIU has about 16 to 18 resorts in the Caribbean. What Island are you considering?

Friends of ours son & dil ( in their 30's) were planning on the Riu and thought it was too expensive. They stayed at the Marriott and loved it. Another friend loved the Hyatt. My choice would have been the Radisson, now the Hilton.

Thanks for the update. Were they all inclusive at any of them? <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Thumbsup.gif" alt="" />

No they are not all inclusive. Marriott has a program, not sure of the name, you can upgrade to. They have a special room on an upper level where you can get lite food, drinks etc. I will try to find the name of it.

Besides Riu there is the Occidental AI and I have heard mixed reviews. Holiday Inn AI also mixed reviews. In the low rise area there are a few AI but I do not know much about them.

Check out tradewindsarubamarriott for the program I mentioned. Good luck, I hope this helps.

I can't wait to return in less than a month, we will be at the Marriott Surf Club.
