Hello experts,
We arrive in STT on 6/26 at about 12:30 PM. Is it better to taxi to Red Hook and wait for the 4:00 ferry to Jost or try for an earlier ferry from CA to West End and catch the second ferry to Great Harbor?
I'm interested to hear all of your opinions. No kids on this quick five night land based trip to Jost.
Thanks everyone!

Personally..I would ferry to WE and then get the, extremely reliable, Jost ferry after a cold one down at " Fish N' Lime"..That way you have more options..

VI ferry wisdom says take the first ferry leaving the nearest dock that will get you where you are headed. Don't give away time, too much can happen while you wait.

The Jost ferry from Red Hook usually stops in Cruz Bay to pickup more passengers. Like Breeze said, we usually take the next ferry, where ever that is. The taxi to Red Hook frequently stops to drop off at resorts on the way.

We arrive around that time and always take the ferry out of Charlotte Amalie that is going to West End, Tortola. We clear customs and then take a private water taxi or the next ferry to Jost Van Dyke.
