Can someone tell me if there is a public entrance to Orient, or do you go through one of the resort entrances? The last time we entered I think it was a small dirt road past Club Orient.

If you mean a public entrance to Orient Beach, then yes. Take the road (Club O, Butterfly Farm etc). When you get to Club O entrance bear to the left along the tall fence. The public beach / parking will be in front of you. You can also enter the public beach via the road to Coco Beach Restaurant, Orient Village or Palm Beach Restaurant. If you mean a public entrance to the Club O Beach, also yes. Park in the Club O parking lot ($5 until May 1), walk past the Guard Shack and then walk the sand path to the beach toward the Perch Bar.

Public entrance/Day Visitor is well marked. Only choice prior to entering the beach is paid parking ($5) in lot or no charge before paid lot. All non Orient residents enter the same spot.

For Orient, there are many entrances. Orient Village to Bikini Beach is a good choice
