Today we decided to visit Fort Louis in the morning before it became too hot. First we had breakfast at Zee Bakery. We both had one of the breakfast crepes and we split a strawberry crepe. Breakfast was very satisfying! Then it was off to Marigot. It took us a little while to find the steps to the fort. Fortunately traffic in Marigot was not bad today. After touring the fort, we did some shopping in town and then set out to find Happy Bay Beach. After following directions I found on the internet, we successfully found Happy Bay! What a great beach! There were no more than 25 people on the beach at any one time. Very quiet, calm water. We were so pleased with our find. One the way back, we spent a little time at Friar's Bay which is also nice. For those interested, Happy Bay was approximately 65% nude vs clothed. Didn't seem to matter to either party. Everyone respected the other. Our ride back to the resort included a stop at La Sucriere to stock up on a few quiche for tomorrow morning. We had dinner at Gingerbread again because it was convenient. The Mahi Mahi was excellent. Gingerbread seems to be a very good casual, resort based restaurant. We received an email this morning from Paul at Captain Alan's telling us they cancelled our St Barth's trip. We tried to pull something together with Tiko Tiko but just didn't have enough time. I think we will be taking the "around SXM" trip with Captain Alan's on Friday instead. Weather permitting, we are headed to Anguilla via the Marigot ferry.

You sure do find great places for breakfast. I need to learn how to make crepes, I am craving banana and nutella or strawberry and banana very soon. Hope you get on a boat trip to you liking.

You guys are getting a lot done and going to places I have yet to make it to. Sounds like a good time. I always enjoy Anguilla.

Since you like to eat breakfast out, I would recommend (even though you didn't ask) a trip to Sint Maarten Yacht Club. Great breakfast, awesome bloody Mary's and a great view of the boats coming in and out of the harbor.
