If you ever have to do a working vacation, this is the place for it
Weather: The cloud cover gave way to a gorgeous weekend, intense sun and nice breeze. We were finally able to get down to the beach Sat. and Sun. Today is overcast again, but the day has just begun.
CoCo Beach: CoCo is very easy for us to get to. Just cut thru the beautiful grounds of Esmeralda, about a 7 minute walk. Security was riding around on a bike. I had homemade lobster bisque and rose for lunch and Matt had the pepperoni pizza and rum/coke. Both very good. Love the delicate pizza crusts down here.
Baywatch: There is not much to say that hasn't already been said BUT Cheryl has lost 26 pounds since last year and looks fantastic Now sit down for this: Andy had just picked up his daughter from the airport and was all decked out in a searsucker shirt, nice shorts and non-croc shoes He cleans up good! The man actually does have a softer side and you could see how proud he is of his daughter. Matt had chicken fingers and I had the calamare with marinara...yum yum.
Grilling Out: We had a cookout for American Idol night last week: meaty chicken legs, fresh green salad with dijon dressing, potato salad (not good) from Grand Marche, fresh baguette, wine. Loved it. We have never watched American Idol until this season and only because we are friends of one of the pastors at Danny Gokey's church...not planning to watch it again!
Tonight we plan to grill rib eyes and baked potatoes, fresh green salad. Maybe some BBC's for dessert.
Misc. Stuff: I forgot to mention that we had a wonderful TTOL party on May 8th hosted by Bill and Elaine at Mary's Boon We have never been there and the beach is wonderful. I can see why people love Karacter's and Beach Side Villas. Didn't realize that Gail and Joe had also moved here...we first met them about 3 years ago at a TTOL party hosted by Joan & Jerry. Pictures have already been posted and as I mentioned on the other board, Elaine was unable to capture my tip over in the chair and trip over your flip flops while going up the stairs tricks Always meet great people with good stories to share. Elaine and Bill make wonderful hosts
