Great day today at JVD. Currently on a ball in Great Harbor and the weather is petfect. A bit of rain last night but nothing but blue skies now!

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - beer in hand - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, "WOO HOO, What a Ride!"

We checked out Hendos yesterday. Good drinks, good atmosphere, less crowded.

We were at Hendo's week before last & it was sooo nice to have a quiet place to land for a while. It'll be even nicer when their beach chairs arrive. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Tonguea.gif" alt="" />

Yes, it's a little pricey. But it's a beautifully crafted building made entirely of ipe, the bathroom is clean with no admonishment to not flush, and service is prompt & cheerful. I had a vegetarian pita (not on the menu but they made it anyway) which was just so-so, but those who got burgers said they were the best they had had in the islands. We'll be making it our go-to in WB from now on.

Good to hear the wind has died down a bit, we were over 20kts all week with plenty of over-30 gusts.

If I can't be a good example, I'll just have to be a horrible warning. [Linked Image]

Is Hendo's the place that was right next to Soggy's and was still under contstruction last year? Looking through Soggy's web cam at 2:10 and looks like rain over Tortola - Get your bars of soap just in case it hits White Bay!!

Just left Hendos. Good food (quesadilla) and drinks. Mojito was awesome!
Nice clean beautiful place. Super nice server. Thumbs up!
