Hello all.. Daughter is distraught as her GoPro micro SD card seems to be corrupted.. At 15 this is a catastrophe!! She wants to take more video tomorrow. Anyone know where we can pick up a new micro SD card in Marigot? Electronics store? Yes, that's what I was thinking. Not sure I would bother with Marigot. Go to P'burg. You will find it there..

I think there is a hardware store on the road from Marigot towards the bridge. They may have one. Otherwise, the guys at Orient Bay watersports use a go pro to record stuff and probably would sell you one.

Anyone been to Maneks on Rue de la Republique in Marigot? When I googled to look for electronics store in Marigot, Maneks came up.

Just keep in mind that my experience over the last 30 years is that electronics on island are non returnable for what ever reason. So my advice is even for a sd card TRY it before the purchase. Make sure the device recognise.s it.
Just my $.02 worth.

In Marigot.......
by the Northwest corner of the intersection of Rue de Sandy Ground and Rue du President Kennedy, there is a phone / electronics store where I am rather sure you can get a Micro SD card.
I've been there, do not remember the name.

I had an issue with my GoPro on island in February and after contacting their tech support I was told to format the SD card and couldn't. My issue was with the camera freezing up. Spent second week with no camera. So before you put out the money for a new SD card, contact GoPro tech support online for a possible fix if available.

Update! We bought a new micro SD card at the Canon copier store in Marigot.. I thought it was a Canon camera store.. Shocked that this tiny place not only had the Micro SD memory card but also that it WORKED!! Disaster averted! Only problem now is I think I left my credit card there.. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/duh.gif" alt="" /> can't anything be easy? Thanks for all the suggestions.. All deeply appreciated! Karen
