7 middle aged guys w hall passes coming tomorrow for BVI Spring Regatta. Need recommendaton for some fun on Tortola (that is not Nanny Cay or Roadtown). Been BVI prob 15 times always couples or families. Is Cane Garden (Myetts, Quinto?) still best bet by taxi??

For two of you roundtrip from Nanny Cay probably cheaper to rent a car..but , if you cab, there's a stand right there at Nanny Cay..try the new fish n chips at Myett's for lunch...really good!

Seven people of any gender or age on a "hall pass" out partying do not need to be driving anywhere at the end of the evening. Fork over the cash, be responsible & take a cab. I'm surprised anyone would suggest otherwise.

If I can't be a good example, I'll just have to be a horrible warning. [Linked Image]

I'm sorry, but I'm on Debbie's side on this one. I live here and have seen visitors trying to negotiate the CGB road in and out ... in varying states of consciousness. Take a cab!

Driving while under the influence in Tortola may seem like a lark, but for those of us who live here, a bunch of guys out drinking after racing and then driving is a recipe for disaster. You won't be getting any more hall passes anytime soon if you come home damaged or having hurt or killed someone else.

Spring for the "big bucks" and keep everyone safe.

When you consider how many taxis are on the road at any given time and how many trips are made SAFELY, I think the cab safety record is pretty good ... [color:"red"]and I am being honest[/color].

Yes, there have been some nightmarish taxi accidents, but I am absolutely amazed anyone would suggest that people drink and drive. These are middle aged guys who have been let loose by their wives to go have some fun with the boys. What condition do you think they will be in? Safe to drive?

Be honest now! Do you think they will appoint a designated driver?
