I was reading about a Lolo in Grand Case that is run by Alain Joe. It is supposed to be one of six in Grand Case. Anyone able to tell me which one that may be, since I don't remember ever seeing that name on one of them.

It is in with the group of Lolo's. There should be signs so you can figure out which one it is. I could be wrong but think that was the one we ate at in July (we were street side). The food and service were very good!

We just had lunch there yesterday. It's located about a block from the parking lot on the main street. There are four or five chicken & Rib places grouped together. Just walk between them towards the beach and its 2nd one in on the left hand side. The food and service was pretty good and the atmosphere great!

I thought Scooby's was the middle (2nd) on on the RIGHT as you are walking towards the beach. Decent food...nice people

Scooby's is our favorite, primarily because they can reliably get their fries crispy, have the best Johnny Cakes on the French side, and reliably stock conch. They are the middle Lolo on the right. The one across from it is Au Coin des Amis, our back-up if Scooby's isn't open.

No need to have such detailed directions to figure out which one is Scoobys.....all the lolos are together and if you want to go Scoobys (my favorite) then you go to the one clearly labeled "Scoobys"

In any case, in very simple terms, a Lolo is a roadside, limited facilities BBQ stand. It is not the name a a specific restaurant. In Grand Case, there are six stalls for Lolos, three on each side of the beach access area. Scoobys is one of those six.
