Does anyone know if someone on island makes custom sandles and if so what they or someone thet know thought of them?

I have a very wide foot from walking barefoot for years and its next to impossible to find pairs that fit!

Thanks

Not custom but have you tried Birkenstocks?

Never tried them but there is a a little shop on the way into Marigot, I think it is in Sandy Ground on the right hand side of the street.

The Croc Flip Flops are wide too. There's a Croc Shop in Philipsburg and in Howell Center near Super U.

Not custom made but I have an older pair of Merrill sandals that have a "convertible" back strap that can be removed and then worn as flip-flops and they do NOT go through your toes. I have flat feet and the width is not at all an issue and they adjust also.

My husband has wider feet also and got a pair of Crocs at that store that he loves, not flip flops, not your typical Croc either, slip on across the top.

Thanks too all, Lonny any clue too the name of the shop? Rural, know the make? I can see if I can find them. Dixie, thanks but one other thing about Croce, the material makes my feet sweat like crazy, my wife wants me to get botox on my feet! Thanks for the thought though!

There is a place right in Marigot, in the middle between the street and dock. If you picture the marina on the lagoon as a U shape, it would be on the bottom of the U in the middle. The shop would face North.

Mine are older and I don't see them as being available now. A friend actually bought a pair just like mine on Back St. several years ago. Below is what is currently offered and are as close as I could quickly find.

Sandals

Another option Here

This one is closer to what I have.

Clarks makes comfortable mens sandals, my husband likes the type that cover his feet. Check onlineshoes.com; they have lots to offer in shoe comfort, going up to widths in 4E for wider feet.

For women, I get lots of compliments on my Aerosole sandals, there are some nice ones from last year available on ebay. And very comfortable, too.
