Do the taxies going from Road Town to CGB take the mountain road? I know at one time we were told that it's faster and cheaper to get to CGB from West End, but according to the Taxi fare listings, it's cheaper to go from Road Town. We're wondering if we should take the ferry from ST Thomas to RT or to WE - we have a large group so those few dollars each will add up. Thanks for any shared wisdom!

Road Town to CGB Up Joes Hill and back down is shorter by about 8-10 minutes. For total time enroute I prefer West End but it is $3-$4 more.

West End C&I experience is a whole lot better than RoadTown. Nicer view on the ride too.

Thank you! Sounds like we may be better off sticking with West End.
