David and I were looking to book a few nights at the Liberty Inn in the Fall prior to our stay at BSV. We wanted to be in the area where there are a lot of walking options to restaurants and bars for a few days w/o "breaking the bank!"

The following information may be of interest to anyone who was thinking about staying there.

We received a reply from the owners:

"There are big changes at the Liberty Inn! As of March 8, 2016, we are no longer a hotel but now are yearly leased condos!"

have you stayed there before Louise? I've walked by it many times and it doesn't look too inviting...JMO

SXMNorm stayed there a year or so ago and posted pictures at the time. I think he thought it was OK for a short stay.

No we never stayed there but it was a big consideration because of it's location and low cost.

Patty--missed you Tuesday night!

Wendell and Deisy took a look at the Commodore place. He said it was kind of expensive, especially considering there is zero view.

I would recommend The Summit if $100 a night is ok.

I can't remember the name of that 'suites' place which is across from Atrium/Greenhouse. I think they are affordable and certainly 'walkable' to many places.

I got extra nights at Flamingo for $90 a night through hotels.com. Watch their sales and you can get good deals.
