Going to be down in about 3 weeks and looking for a recommendation for lunch in CGB. Thinking Myetts it was good the last time we were down but I've read a couple of questionable reviews. Has anything changed? Any thoughts, or other choices?

Quito's now has music at lunch (12:30-2:30) and a good lunch menu. Stanley's is always good for a "Cheesburger in Paradise".

We have eaten lunch many times at Stanley's n/k/a Tony's. Always been good.

and on the other side of the spectrum...

Grab a 6 pack at the beach bar store, and walk down to the bakery and get salami and cheese sandwiches on home baked rolls and sit on your blanket on the beach.

My husband and I were just on island and had both lunch and dinner at Tony's. Paradise Club was our favorite years ago, but Tony's is now "the" place for us when we're in CGB.

Rhymers still puts together a decent lunch at very reasonable prices too. Think a BLT is still $4.50. Best onion rings on the island too if your arteries need a bit more lube.

Great idea but I would do it in the reverse...walk down to the bakery and pick up the cold ones on the way back...why carry them farther than necessary and let them get warm.

We are clearly overthinking this.

But yes, a bag of 2 dollar sandies, and a 6 of beer. get the sandies first, beer later.

walk to a out of the way spot.

I think the cheese, salami, and beer idea
is great!
Also a good opportunity to remind the OP,
