I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with AT&T cell phone service while at Club O....is there any at all and, if so, how good is it?
We'll be there in April and I will need a phone for keeping in touch with the office...

Never had a problem with AT&T at Club O. I received and made several calls and texts.

regular $2.00 a minute rates apply? 50 cents for texts?

Yes, in fact I just spoke to them yesterday. You cannot buy a travel plan for SXM yet but they are working on it (same thing they told me last year) and this particular rep could not tell me what's the rates would be. What we do is use ' what's app ' over Wi-Fi for text and e mail. I have made direct calls over the local cell service and the roaming charges were not that bad but that would only be a last resort.

Thanks for that info. We'll be there next month and I'm going to need to take a call on one particular day so just wanted know if my phone will even work. Normally I just put it on airplane mode and only use email.

I use Verizon Wireless and have gotten good reception at Club O.
