What is your favorite restaurant in Aruba? We have been to Madam Jeannette's, Papiamento, El Gaucho and an Italian restaurant near Hard Rock that I can't remember the name of. Flying Fishbone is on our list of places to try, but would love other recommendations. Thanks!

Been a long time since we were last there, but our favorite restaurant was the French Steakhouse at Manchebo Beach Resort. We stayed there at the resort for our honeymoon -- MANY moons ago!! -- and have several times since then. Hope it's still there!

Try Le Petit Café if you have never had you meal served on hot stones. You finish cooking everything to your level of doneness. For true Aruban style seafood, try Driftwood Restaurant.

Had drinks and appetizers at the Lighthouse restaurant La Trattoria el Faro Blanco. Best time is around sunset the view is beautiful. A little pricy but so are most of the Aruba restaurants. Also ate dinner at Hostaria da' Vittorio in Eagle Beach. Ate outside no view of the beach but food, service were very good. Have also been to Madame Jeannette's and enjoyed it. They did make a $100 error on the bill but quickly rectified it and apologized. Went to Driftwood with 2 other couples and every ones food was good. Couldn't believe the size of the shrimp in the shrimp cocktail.

Yes, the Steak House at Manchebo is still there. We eat there each time we travel to Aruba. We will be there in two weeks. We like Eddie, the excellent pianist, who plays there nightly. I like their fish !

My favorite is Charlie's Bar, in San Nicholas ! In the heart of the red light district, so go in the daytime. Roslyn and I both love it !

My favorite would be Flying Fishbone. Great service, outstanding at sunset, and wonderful food. Try to reserve a table at the waters edge. Next would be Driftwood in Oranjestad. Fresh seafood and great service. Unique décor but no water views. They make their white Sangria using watermelon for a much different taste.

Our favorite every year is Barefoot. Similar to Flying Fishbone, you can sit on the beach or under a huge palapa with your feet in the sand.
