Has anyone been on the Passaat dinner cruise? I'm interested in it and would like feedback.

We have done their lunch cruise a couple of times. Good food, nice and relaxed atmosphere and the owners of the boat took good care of us. I would not expect any less on any cruise one would do with them.

I think they do the so called dinner cruise at lunch time and a sunset cruise in the evening with drinks and appetizers. I'M sure others will respond if there is now a dinner cruise in the evening.

Seems to me the last time we did the sunset sail, they were promoting their dinner cruise as a sunset sail up the coast and then back to their mooring at Simpson Bay for a full sit down dinner. It sounded like another fun Passaat sail but we just never quite managed to get around to it.

We did the dinner cruise in January 2015 and enjoyed it. The crew was excellent and there was adequate seating that was comfortable while sailing. We sailed up toward La Samanna and then back to the mooring for dinner. We were served drinks (wine, maybe beer)and appetizers while under sail and then had a sit down dinner. While I don't remember what we were served I remember we enjoyed the cruise and dinner.

Entree choices are listed as chicken or mahi-mahi. Below is from their website.
The 3 course dinner offered is: * Mixed salad with french bread; * Choice between Mahi Mahi filet with Mango sauce or Caribbean Chicken Curry, both with rice, plantain & veggies&; * Coconut Cream Pie & Coffee

I have been on all three of their sails (all day, sunset, dinner) multiple times and enjoyed all of them. The sunset sail and dinner sail are very similar. It's just that for the dinner cruise, once you are back in Simpson Bay, there's a sit-down dinner. As I recall, you are not sailing when they are serving dinner because it takes both of them to cook/serve. I recommend all of their sails.

We have been on the Passaat a number of times for lunch, sunset cruise and dinner. We love the boat and Peter and Mirian are terrific and so much fun. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend sailing with them.
