We were booked on Delta to SXM on June 1st but got changed to May 31st without our knowledge. We can not leave on May 31st. We looked at Jet Blue and they have flights on June 1st out of JFK but the aircraft from JFK to SXM looks empty. How offen does Jet Blue cancell these flights? Thanks

Delta cannot be trusted to operate their published schedule outside of high season, and regularly cuts back to a lighter schedule. AA cannot be trusted to operate non-stop flights out of JFK. JetBlue is more reliable than either.

Being a JetBlue fan, fly them often, a half full flight a day before departure often does not have an empty seat at push back. I don't know if it's nonrev, standbys, last minute bookers but JB has never cancelled any flight I've been on and the load has always been high. I have also never been offered a bump so they seem to really do it right. I'd book in a heartbeat.

I just had my JB cancelled and I called them only to find they said they STILL had my original rsvp, only time had changed to later departure resulting in arriving SXM almost dark.
I tell you this because there may possibly have been a glitch. Have you called them? Also, because I wasn't happy with the time change they put me on an earlier direct flight at no change charge.

We are on a June 1 flight out of JFK. Maybe the same one.

Thanks Did you call Delta and ask them why the change? The 1 Jun flight has better availability then the 31 May flight. They don't move reservations from operating flights. Ask them to move you back!

Delta told me they are not flying on the 1st, that's why they moved us to the 31st. Already made Jet Blue reservations for the the 1st, full refund from Delta. This is the first time flying mid week next year back to the weekends.

If you paid more for the JetBlue flight I would contact Delta and ask for the difference. They still show the flight operating on 1 Jun and are selling seats. 206 dollars one way JFK to SXM on 1 Jun.
