I have tried to dial direct 1-721-xxx-xxxx and 011-721-xxx-xxxx. No connection. I have spent the last hour with Comcast phone service <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/smashpc.gif" alt="" /> Does anyone make this call direct?

It is an international call. If you do not have international calling on your plan, it will either not go through and/or you will pay a pretty steep price.

I use a "dial around" service when I call as we do not have an international calling plan.

Agree with RC...I don't bother with the grief and just Skype it from my Samsung cell phone. Perfect from a nice strong home signal...

if this is a land line, you will need international calling, a cell will go right through, albeit more expensive.

Is it really an international call since they are now on the North American dialing system?

Have no problem calling SXM 721 area code from Montreal.

It is the North American Numbering Plan, not necessarily North American dialing system and that does not mean it is without additional cost.

Uh, yeah, it is an international call. Regardless of whether it is now easier to dial, it is still an international call, with international call costs..

My wife calls ST Martin a lot, so we have the international plan on her AT&T cell phone if she cannot go Skype or Whatsapp. It is "reasonable" with the $5 per month international plan.

Yes, we have an international calling card also, I think it's around 30 cents a minute.
